How kWIQly handles personal data on this website.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
Who is responsible
kWIQly GmbH, Untere Gasse 9, 3853 Niederried, Switzerland, is responsible for processing personal data on kwiqly.com. The company is entered in the commercial register of the canton of Bern under CH-036.4.041.645-6. You can reach us at info@kwiqly.com.
This policy covers this website only: visits to it and enquiries sent through the contact form. Customers of the kWIQly analytics platform receive separate data processing terms.
Visiting the website
- Hosting. kwiqly.com runs on a server in Frankfurt, Germany, provided by DigitalOcean, LLC.
- Server logs. When you load a page, the web server records your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use these logs to run and secure the website and to investigate errors. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- No external analytics. We do not load external analytics, advertising or social media tools. If you allow campaign measurement, we remember campaign labels in your browser tab and include them when you submit an enquiry. The pages do not load fonts, scripts or other content from third parties.
Cookies and browser storage
The website does not set cookies. It stores two settings in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
cookie-consent: your choice in the cookie noticetheme: whether you prefer light or dark mode
If you allow campaign measurement, kwiqly-campaign in session storage holds the first tagged campaign for this browser tab (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign). It is cleared when the tab session ends or when you switch to Necessary Only using Privacy preferences in the footer. These labels are sent to us only with a submitted enquiry. No advertising click IDs or full referring URLs are collected. Local interaction events contain only an event name and language; no external event collector is installed.
You can change your choice through Privacy preferences in the footer, or delete browser storage in your browser settings.
Contact form
When you send the contact form, we process your name, work email address and company. We also process the number of sites and whether you are requesting a free assessment. Your job title, phone number, data source and message are optional. If you allowed campaign measurement, campaign labels are included with your enquiry.
We use this information to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, to arrange a free trial. The form sends your details to our server, which forwards them by email to our team. Nothing is stored on the web server. Our email is provided by Microsoft 365.
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and for any business relationship that follows. We then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Legal basis
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where they apply, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. Under the GDPR, our legal bases are:
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Optional campaign measurement: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it through Privacy preferences in the footer.
- Contact form: steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Recipients and international transfers
We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. These service providers process data on our behalf:
- DigitalOcean, LLC, USA: server hosting in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Microsoft: email.
Both companies are based in the United States or have a parent company there, so data may be accessed from outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your personal data and for its correction, deletion or restriction, and for a copy in a common format. You can object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest. To do so, write to info@kwiqly.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). In the EU it is the authority in your country, and in the United Kingdom it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes
We update this policy when the way we process personal data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
